Gavin's arrival in the City World

For awhile Hannah cried without noticing the cat. Suddenly a soft purr made her wince and wipe her tears. She looked over her knees and saw Noom.
"You." Hannah rubbed her eyes as if the cat was going to make fun of her and looked at her again over will.
"How did you get in?" she growled.

Noom bobbed her head to one side, making a slightly confused expression. Before Hannah could notice, Noom was rubbing her soft (and clean) fur into Hannah's legs, like trying to comfort her.

In his room, Gavin was still sleeping.

"Hey!" She jerked her arms and put them behind her back as if disgusted by the cat. She held them there for awhile before finally letting them fall. Finally, she formally patted her head.
"I don't like cats, let's make it clear." She lift her eyebrows at her. "But you ain't that bad." Hannah looked around narrowing her eyes at the window like she suspected someone was watching.
"But let's not spread it around." she suddenly growled threateningly. With that she more or less gently put the cat down on the floor and threw herself back in the bed falling asleep instantly.
And this time there were no nightmares.

Noom smiled at herself, then went back to Gavin's room the way she got out. She jumped back on his clothes, making herself comfortable. Before she went to sleep, she looked at Gavin, who was soundlessly sleeping. She shook her head and went to sleep, having no more dreams about the male cat.

It was already sunny outside when Hannah woke up. Stretching arms over head she sat up and took a deep breath. Memory of last night's nightmare was still fresh and as she stared through the window picture of Gavin's lifeless body flashed through her head again. She growled loudly trying to throw it out, more confident after actually having some rest. Throwing legs over the bed it took her awhile to find the boots and put them on. She looked up and saw that the belt was lying on the couch, right where she left it. Even in her dreams it was a tool worth having. Hannah got up, tightened it around her waist and leaned against the wall.
Alright,time to put the last night's... annoyance, behind. Honestly, she couldn't remember the last time she had a dream. Why now? Her head hated her. Now she oughta think what to do with the real Gavin. ...Really, what to do?

Gavin woke up a little before Hannah and was ready for the new day, all dressed up, sat on his neatly made bed, with perfectly cleaned sheets. He had Noom on his lap, petting her fur, every time his hand went through it, it got cleaner and cleaner.

He was thinking of so many things, that after a while, he was just sitting. After he realized that, he stood up, holding Noom and put her on his head. Then he walked out of his room and went to Hannah's room to ask her if she wanted to have breakfast with him. He knocked on it three times and waited for a response.

THUD. THUD. THUD.
She jerked her head at the door.
That must be Gavin. Typical for him, up already. I wonder does he really sleep?
She had an odd feeling he told her that once already a long time ago but she couldn't remember. Hannah shook her head, she couldn't be bothered with that now. What to do?
"Here I am!" She yelled immediately feeling childish for doing so. From some reason she didn't want to leave the room. Once out, Gavin will expect answers. Answers she didn't know yet! She could see his shadow under the door.
Ohh... how I'd like to stay here today....
Something inside her clicked just then.
...Fear?
She sniffed and pulled the door wide open with a most uninterested face. She had to work hard to keep it though, the minute she saw Gavin alive and whole it triggered the memory of her dream and she had to fight an urge to squeeze the air out of him.
IDIOT.IDIOT.IDIOT.I LOVE HIM.IDIOT.IDIOT.IDIOT...
"Oh hi Gavin."

Gavin looked at her. For a minute he looked like he was going to hug her or do something like that, but when he saw her, he just nodded his head.

"Hello, Hannah. Did you sleep well? And would you like to have breakfast with me?"

Noom was still on Gavin's head, with closed eyes, as if sleeping. She was curled up into a purring fuzz ball of sparkly clean fur and a slight smell of violets.

Hannah shifted her eyes at the cat calmly sleeping on Gavin's head and back at him.
"How did you manage to bring her.. that thing in, by the way?"
She walked past him and waited on the beginning of the stairs. "And okay, but under condition that you actually EAT."

"I have my tricks."

He smiled a little.

"Don't worry, I'm actually STARVING."

His smile widened. He walked after her, started climbing down the stairs, making sure Hannah is following him.

He was going to ask the receptionist for a restaurant some place close and take Hannah there.

"Yah, yah, just keep my neck out of your menu vampire boy."
As they got to the lobby pink alien from last night immediately approached them with a large smile on his face.
"Ahh, here they are! They couple that's having a fight." He gulped nervously when Hannah sent him a dirty look.
"And how have you slept?" he said turning to Gavin and ignoring Hannah who continued to make faces behind him. "How's your robot?"

Gavin smiled at the alien.

"Ooh, she's in sleep mode right now."

He pointed at the still curled on his head Noom.

He looked at Hannah with a slightly devilish smile, but returned back to a normal, calm face in seconds, as he turned to the receptionist again.

"Would you mind telling us where the nearest restaurant that is open at this time is? We would like to have breakfast."

"Oh!" The alien's face lit up. "There's Xren's diner just around the corner, I heard they make delicious scrambled eggs!"
"Xren's?" Hannah made a face. "I ate there. They suck."
"O-oh? Well..." He lift his arms helplessly. He was obviously turning nervous. His eyes kept trying to catch Gavin's look as if he pleaded for assistance. "I.. guess there's always The Pit..."
"The Pit?" He turned around. Hannah had a most frighteningly enthusiastic face on.
"Y-yes, ...but I don't recommend.." But he didn't manage to finish the sentence when Hannah roughly pushed him out of the way.
"What do you say Gavin?" Her eyes beamed.

Gavin thought for a second.

"Hmm..."

He shrugged.

"Ehh. It sounds like an interesting place... So... Why not?"

He looked at Hannah, not knowing what exactly to expect from her.

"Lets go, shall we?"

She grinned. "Awesome."
Now was the alien's turn to make a face.
"B-but, sir..."
And once again his thought remained unfinished. They were already gone.

Hannah was pulling Gavin through the crowd of, by her opinion, completely intolerant people. Every now and then she'd have to step on someone's foot or shove elbow into stomachs just to continue the pace.
Must be the city.
After awhile it started shrinking in great numbers, there were less and less normal looking civilians walking by. By the time they turned the final corner there was only a couple of lonely figures watching them out of smaller alleyways.
Across the street was what once could've been an old diner, but now looked more like a well barricaded bar. Sign that once informed in neon green letters that the place was called "The Pit" didn't work properly, and only "IT" still brightly glowed. Dim light as if infected by smoke could be seen through the dirty window.
Hannah who has finally stopped to catch breath looked proudly at the place. There was an odd look in her eyes that would have disturbed most of normal people and frightened the ones who know her.
"What do you say?"

Gavin raised an eyebrow, or the irken equivalent of it, looking at "The Pit" with a mix of boredom and curiosity.

"I'm going to inspect the kitchen first. And I hope the inside of the building is clean... Or else I'll make it SPARKLE."

Somehow, he managed to make the last word sound almost like a threat.

Noom was starting to wake up, when she noticed she wasn't in the hotel any more. As she was looking around, she saw Hannah and the expression she had on her face made Noom slightly worried, but also - curious. She looked at where both Hannah and Gavin were looking at and wondered what this place might be.

Gavin started walking towards it with confident steps.

Hannah silently followed Gavin as he started walking toward the diner. She was determined to let him have the honor of entering first and watch his reaction. However she couldn’t keep the grin off her face. This was promising, so promising that she somehow managed to control her tempting urge to make grand entrances. Blowing up the front wall was out of question anyway, they’re supposed to let them eat there.
I hope no one remembers the last time. No one probably remembers the last time.

(Sorry for the very long wait on this, hope I don't disappoint I tried my best at 2:20 am. But that's what I get for not replying on time XD)

As he was walking towards the door, Gavin’s fully automated responses towards dirt and generally everything unclean went to full speed, making him raise a hand towards the door and enter almost dramatically… If it weren’t for him making the whole door and parts of the wall sparkling clean, it would have been a pretty dramatic entry. With every step he took, everything he got close enough to or touched, turned sparkly clean with a scent of lemon and, because it smells good, mint.

On his head, Noom wasn’t so happy about the smell. She preferred the smell of either fish, liver and just in general – cats. She didn’t like the smell of lemon, but she had to get used to it. THIS one was feeding her and taking good care of her. Also the other one wasn’t as bad as she first thought.

Gavin looked around, with a black cat on his head that looked more like a hat than anything else. He wasn’t sure what he was expecting, actually. He didn’t say anything for a few seconds, just so he can get all his thoughts together and realize where he is in this very moment.

With that, the circle of shiny, freshly cleaned EVERYTHING was expanding slowly, but surely.
